Brick Warp
An endless arcade game for Android. Break bricks. Beat the clock. Fight what is left.
Version 0.8.0. Portrait phone game, played with one finger or arrow keys. Fully offline.
What it is
Brick Warp is a single-screen game that alternates between two modes in the same arena: Arkanoid-style brick breaking and a top-down shooter. The paddle turns into a ship, the surviving bricks turn into fighters, and after the wave everything settles back into a fresh brick board. Nothing reloads; the transition is part of the game.

How a run works
- Break the board against a countdown. The clock is set from the board itself, not the level number. Every brick can be destroyed.
- Clear it early for a bonus and skip the shooter. Or let the clock run out: every brick still standing becomes a fighter, and a brick's remaining hit points decide how tough its fighter is. Chipping a brick you cannot finish still weakens what you have to fight.
- Fly the shooter wave with the same upgrades you bought as a paddle. Survive it and the next board descends while you warp back.
- Repeat, faster. Ball speed climbs every level. Levels run endlessly; the run summary judges you on level reached, points, bricks, fighters, best combo, time, and seed.
The pressure is time, not the last brick
Destroyed bricks sometimes drop +Time pickups: the most valuable drop in the game, because the countdown is the game. Twelve timed drops exist in total: wide paddle, multi ball, slow ball, catch mode, extra life, time, big time, massive ball, fireball, chaos splitter, the rare armor piercing (the ball stops bouncing and goes through everything for eight seconds), and one harmful one, the narrowing paddle, which the game warns you about instead of celebrating.
Upgrades are bought, not awarded
There is a shop you open whenever you choose, and you pay from your running score. A purchase is visible and permanent. Five upgrades, each plain about where it works:
- Split: an extra ball in breakout, an extra bullet per shot in the shooter.
- Heavy: bricks take more damage per hit; shots pierce one more fighter.
- Rapid: the ship fires faster (shooter only).
- Shield: absorbs one fighter hit per shield bought (shooter only).
- Magnet: falling power-ups drift toward the paddle, harmful one excepted (breakout only).
Practical facts
- Price and tracking
- No ads. No accounts. No analytics. No network connection at all. The game works with the phone in airplane mode, and progress lives only on the device.
- Controls
- Touch: the paddle goes where your finger is. Desktop test builds: arrows or A/D to move, Enter/Space to start, Esc to pause, O for options.
- Languages
- Sixteen, matched to the phone on first launch: English, Čeština, Deutsch, Ελληνικά, Español, Français, Magyar, Italiano, Nederlands, Polski, Português (pt-BR), Română, Русский, Svenska, Türkçe, Українська.
- Options
- Language, music and effects volumes, screen shake, reduced flashing, haptics, a colourblind-safe palette, and progress reset behind a confirmation.
- Pause
- Pause stops the simulation outright. A phone call mid-run costs you the board, never the run.
